Children’s Program, General QPL Playdate: Reach For The Stars

The Broadway branch transforms its indoor planetarium into a stellar playground for kids ages 4‑8. During the Reach For The Stars playdate, young explorers will gaze at projected constellations, build simple rockets, and enjoy space‑themed crafts. Library staff guide the activities, creating a hands‑on learning environment that blends imagination with basic astronomy. Parents can relax in the reading lounge while children discover the wonders of the night sky.
